About Talking Rock →I break Prescott into seven areas: Williamson Valley (big views and acreage), Iron Springs (forest feel near town), the Prescott National Forest (Copper Basin, White Spar, Senator Highway), Downtown (historic and walkable), East Prescott, the Lakes & Granite Dells, and Prescott Valley. The scenery changes completely within 10 minutes, so the right area depends on how you want to live.

It depends on how you want to live. For luxury buyers, frequent favorites include Talking Rock, Hassayampa/Capital Canyon Club, High Valley Ranch, American Ranch, Forest Trails, The Ranch at Prescott, Prescott Lakes and the historic homes on Mt. Vernon Street and Park Avenue.
Talking Rock (guard gated, social membership required), Hassayampa/Capital Canyon Club (gated, in the pines near downtown), Prescott Lakes (resident membership, Dells views) and Antelope Hills (public course).
Talking Rock, Hassayampa, American Ranch, High Valley Ranch and sections of Prescott Lakes. In Prescott Valley, Copperfield is a small gated community on 4–6 acre lots.
Prescott has the historic downtown, pines, boulders and more custom, golf and gated communities. Prescott Valley usually offers more home for the money, newer master-planned communities and a shorter drive to Phoenix.
Homes in or next to the Prescott National Forest (Copper Basin, White Spar, Senator Highway, Groom Creek, Walker Road and parts of Iron Springs) typically have the highest premiums. In-town neighborhoods, the Dells and Prescott Valley are usually easier to insure.
Whether you're moving next month or just starting to dream, I'd love to hear what you're looking for. There's no pressure, just a conversation with a local who's happy to help.
